2010
My first group cruise is coming up soon to Alaska in May! This is a great opportunity to visit the wonderful gift from Mother Nature and visiting during the early part of the season is especially rewarding, more ice, snow and still a chill in the air.
I did take a winter cruise this past January and found it to be a nice break, we took the Sapphire Princess to the Mexican Rivera; this is great if you like ship time as opposed to shore time, my favorite stop was Cabo - however; we only had a half day there.
This year will be the end to the exceptional pricing on cruise vacations, when you consider the overall costs it is impossible to not see the value. We are traveling to Alaska for approx. $1K per person with fare, taxes, insurance for a week. A week that includes your lodging, food, entertainment, ship activities along with state of the art gym facilities and of course Broadway Quality shows, naturalists and activities offered by the staff that are fun enlightening and challenging. Meeting new people along with exploring some of the best untouched terrain in the world.
My blog is going to be more active as I make a promise to actually blog about my experiences and bookings this year and forward from this date I promise to offer real advise and experiences that will benefit our readers.
I appreciate your patients while we get to the point that we can actually build a following. I promise to offer useful and truthful travel information. Also some things that I feel are more important the the price of a trip, because price has little to do with your personal experience, that being said price also doesn't set a level of luxury. The only thing that separates travel from ordinary to luxury and life changing is the actual experience not the cost!
Watch for our new blog program to start May 1, 2010!
